Franck Kengne named Chief Executive Officer of W3villa Technologies US

NEW YORK, August 11, 2026 Franck Kengne has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of W3villa Technologies Inc, the company's Americas business, based in New York.

Franck has spent the last 13 years building financial technology products and leading product and cross functional teams across trading, structured finance, private markets technology, and blockchain. Most recently he led blockchain product management at Gemini (Nasdaq: GEMI) through the company's public listing, covering blockchain integrations, staking, and stablecoin. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Cornell University and a master's in engineering from Cornell Tech, where he focused on data science and operations research. His appointment comes as W3villa builds out digital assets as the first practice of its US operation.

W3villa Technologies is a software engineering firm that builds the connection between new technology and the systems a business already runs. That connection is where most technology projects stall. The company works across blockchain and stablecoin payments, computer vision, applied AI, and commerce platforms, and takes every project through to production. One recent client had built an impressive amount of technology with a very lean team, and it carried the business for years. When the owners moved to exit, the deal nearly died in diligence after a technical audit flagged end of life systems and vulnerabilities across the stack. W3villa audited the codebase and how the business actually ran on it, rebuilt the system on a modern foundation, and migrated 100% of the data. The acquisition closed.

"The new system works fine on its own but often breaks down when it has to talk to the software the business already runs on, and that's where inefficiency and risk sit, for years.
